Rehearsal dinner is one of the oldest wedding traditions in North America. It’s done at the night before the big wedding date. Usually this event is for both the families of the couple along with the people included in the rehearsal. It’s supposed to be time of socializing and fun for the people involved, since wedding planning is very stressful and complicated. Rehearsal dinner invitations are given only after the wedding invitations have been sent and not necessarily for all the guests. If you’re thinking of what clothes to wear, just put on some casual and comfortable clothes.

There’s also no need to do your hair or apply thick makeup because the real event would be happening the next day. This also the time to give wedding appreciations to people that the couple wish to thanks like their parents, friends and other family members. It is important to hold the dinner in a restaurant so that the hosts won’t be obliged to take many preparations. The menu doesn’t have to be exquisite, just something that’s fit for the budget. Don’t forget that the aim of the dinner is a simple gathering of family members and parts of the rehearsal so just chill out.

They say wedding is indeed very exceptional since it highlights the most thrilling, the most memorable and of course the most expensive event in your life. Why not, if to brides it’s a manifestation of ultimate love then to groom an utmost pride, seeing his loved one dressed in a stunning white gown carrying a long train assisted by some as walking along the aisle, her face covered in veil ready to be captured and tied to with him for the rest of his life. Imagine, just the thought of having a dream wedding can make someone feel elated, how much more in the actual ceremony. Everyone is entitled to dream, like a song in Disney’s Cinderella, “a dream is a wish your heart made.” For some reason these fairy tales are also one of the culprit why girls start dreaming of fairy tale prom dresses to fabulous wedding gowns. If they say wedding is expensive, then here are the most expensive wedding gowns worn by Princess Diana, Melania Knauss, Catherine Zeta Jones, Victoria Beckham and Grace Kellynot to mention some more designers with their very costly jewelry crafted gowns. Princess Diana’s gown was widely known and viewed as the most elegant dress all over the world. The gown was made with a 25-foot train ivory colored, with ivory taffeta and antique laces and covered with more than ten thousand pearls and sequins. What made it very special was not just the fact that it was hand-woven and the designers used gold threads but it was worn by a real princess on her wedding day. Grace Kelly also married Prince Rainier in 1956 and her gown was also known in the whole wide world for its elegance and beauty. Melania Knauss with her marriage to Donald Trump made her wore an unbelievable 50 pound gown made from 300 feet of white duchesse satin and features 1,500 pearls and crystal rhinestones. Catherine Zeta Jones and Vitoria Beckham whose weddings also made records were among those few very lucky brides that wore gowns costing more than any woman could wish for. But then the most expensive wedding gown ever was created in 2006 by Renee Strausse partnered with Martin Katz Jewellers to make a glittery wedding gown that is adorned with diamonds and worth an incredible $12 million. I wonder if prom dresses have also made such a record, why not, even lingerie did.

My boyfriend and I just finished watching our all time favorite medical and comedy drama, House. The show is already on Season 6, episode four to be exact. There are many reasons why many people like us, get hooked with House. Aside from his one of a kind character of a genius and anti social doctor, we all learned to love the other characters as well. For instance, I like Lisa Edelstein’s portrayal of the witty yet sexy Dr. Lisa Cuddy. I also like her simple yet trendy clothes especially her clothes. It matches her long and slender legs, her cleavage and attractive butt. I also follow the relationship of Drs. Chase and Allyson. The last season finale was such breath taking. It was sad, knowing that House finally gave in to the notion of going to rehab. But then, the wedding of Drs. Chase and Allison made it a bit more light and romantic. They were actually real couple before, so I imagined how they felt about being married even just on the set.

Wedding favors are small presents given as a gesture of appreciation or gratitude to guests from the bride and groom during the wedding ceremony or at the wedding reception. They say this tradition originated from old European aristocrats then become widely known in most parts of the world. I’ve been to many wedding occasions and some of the gifts that I’ve had are commonly figurines, boxes and holders and some small room decors. There were also unusual stuff like water plants or money makers, cup cakes and bottle openers. I guess the hosts really have their own reasons for choosing such wedding favors. Nowadays a lot of online websites are offering wedding favors, invitations and a lot more exciting gifts. On the other hand, if the couple thinks this might be a stretch they can always resort to cheaper ones sold in the market. It’s not that really tough, you can create your own design. You can save money and at the same time you have your own touch in it.
