Reading is like window shopping for me, or maybe even better. There’s a lot of useful information that I learn from books, magazines and other reading materials. However, when I’m in the office I couldn’t usually do my usual reading pleasure. So in between my break or if the boss is not around, surfing plus reading fashion and beauty blogs is one of my favorite ways to kill time. Looking at my celebrities and their fashion doesn’t just keep my blues away but also keeps me well informed of what’s hot and what’s not in fashion industry. Well, they’re the trendsetters so I might as well see what they’re wearing. But when it comes to face and body care I go for the experts’ advice.

I know that these celebrities have more than what they needed to attend for their beauty and skin needs but these healthy tips and advice from the experts can at least make you feel beautiful in every single day of your life. They can be found anywhere, Yahoo, MSN or even just google it. Finding the right types of toners is also not an easy task just like how to exfoliate skin. But then again if you feel like these online advices don’t work for you, ask your own dermatologist for further medical advice.

Alex von Furstenberg, son of Diane von Furstenberg and Prince Egon of Furstenberg both of whom are fashion designers of their own rights, have silently made a big deal out of himself by accomplishing things that not all of us can achieve. He is currently the co-managing member and chief investment officer of Arrow Capital Management, LLC, which is a private investment firm focused on global public equities, not to mention making his mark in the world by serving as Director and Secretary of The Diller. His mother Diane is famous with her works on wrap dresses. She basically revolutionized the fashion industry by introducing this kind of style in dresses and certainly made her way to the top. The reason for this success, as she said, “The minute I knew I was about to be Egon’s wife, I decided to have a career. I wanted to be someone of my own, and not just a plain little girl who got married beyond her desserts.” Alex, on the other hand, made sure that he, too, like his mother, will make a name for himself and not just be known as someone who happens to be the son of two famous people.
